Guatemala Mission Trip
St Paul Missions teams are going International!
Casa Aleluya in Guatemala is truly an example of others being the hands and feet of Christ. This Children’s home has nearly 500 children of all ages that have been sent there by the local court system due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. These children are being raised in a loving environment with Christ as the cornerstone.
We have an opportunity to travel to Guatemala to be of help in providing assistance, maintenance and hopefully being able to help build Casa Antoni which will be their dialysis dorm. Completing this dorm will allow Casa Aleluya to welcome more children that require regular life-saving dialysis, which is (unfortunately) fairly common in this population. We are planning a one-week trip in November 2019. At this time registration is closed and all travel plans have been made. Please support those going with your prayers and support of our fundraisers! Thanks!
Fundraisers- Thanks for your Support!
Cinnamon Roll Sale
The Guatemala mission team is happy to offer Cinnamon Rolls after services. Please support our team by enjoying some delicious, fresh-baked cinnamon rolls. They will be $2 each, buy 12, get the 13th free until we sell out.
Do You Have Any Old Shoes?
The Guatemala Mission team is collecting new and used shoes. We have found a fundraising group that pays us a small amount for donated shoes which they then take to Haiti and Honduras and other 3rd world countries to allow “entrepreneurs” there to sell them. We are collecting shoes for this effort. This is a win-win-win situation. You get to purge your closets of old shoes that no longer fit your growing kids, or you just don’t wear anymore. We get to use the money raised to take a mission team from our church to help work on the dialysis dorm or other areas of need at Casa Aleluya. The “entrepreneurs” in Haiti and Honduras get the shoes that they sell for profit to support their families. If you have any old shoes you were going to donate anyway, please bring them to church and drop them off in the bins located in the Giving Center (by the coat racks near the Fellowship Hall) during the months of May and June. Thanks in advance for your help!
